waiting the spring... GO OUT!

I love spring! Weather is great and feel LIFE, everywhere. I can't stay at home.
But before spring, I like it too. I enjoy finding small springs in everyday life. Go out find springs!

Not only that, there are other reason I go out recently. Every year, March 21st(Spring Equinox Day) Kyoto prifecture set the day named "Kyoto traditional handicrafts day 京都伝統産業の日" It is the day to show, the appeal or excellence of Kyoto traditional handicrafts to home and abroad (but I can't find english website, maybe they don't wan to show to abroad...). Before and after that day, there are some events connection with it.
One of the event which is I like most, it already stated. !!yay!! It is .... Special service for kimono wearers :D 40 facilities, and bus&subway(Kyoto city's transportation only), all free to use. I don't use bus&subway, but 40 facilities, I'm sure I use a lot during the period.

For that reason, I go out today, too!

During the period,
*There is a faburous nice view special light up in Higashiyama --->detail
*There will be a fashion show and flea market featuring kimonos

Flyers with free tickets can be picked up in subway stations and other places around Kyoto.
Rental kimonos will be available(Not only this period, anytime is ok), if you are curious about it :D
