Kimi ga yo 君が代

The other day, one of my friend asked me about Japan's national anthem. When I was a student, sometimes I sung it by time to time in school, but after graduate, I don't sing it at all. It is a little bit delicate subject, so I've never talk about it with other japanese, but my opinion is... I like it as a one japanese (I'm not rightist). It's so simple like japanese flag and feel eternal like japanese history.

"Kimi ga yo 君が代"
Kimi ga yo wa (May your Imperial reign)
Chiyo ni (Continue for a thousand years,)
Yachiyo ni (And last for eight thousand generations,)
Sazare ishi no (Until pebbles)
Iwao to narite (Turn into boulders)
Koke no musu made (Covered in moss.)
